Ableton Link
Ableton Link is a technology developed by Ableton that enables tempo, phase, and transport synchronization between multiple music applications and hardware devices over a local network. While not a DJ application itself, Link has become a fundamental protocol in the modern DJ and live performance ecosystem, connecting disparate music tools into synchronized, collaborative performance setups.
Link works over WiFi or wired networks with zero configuration. When multiple Link-enabled apps are connected to the same network, they automatically discover each other and synchronize their tempos and beat positions.
